Join me for this 4-day trip to see the majesty of Manitoba’s two tallest waterfalls (13m and 14m drop). As there is no camping at Pisew Falls, which is close to the highway, we’ll camp the first & third nights at Paint Lake provincial Park. The second day we see Pisew Falls, then hike 4-5 hours with packs along the Grass River, camping near Kwasitchewan Falls one night. We take in Kwasitchewan Falls then hike back on the third day of the trip to our vehicles at Pisew Falls and drive to Paint Lake. Return home on the last day.

This trip demands reasonably experienced hikers with proper footwear and fit enough to hike with your overnight equipment pack.

Location: Pisew & Kwasitchewan Falls: a 7-hour drive north of Winnipeg, 45 minutes from Thompson.
