Discovery Evening
For over sixteen years, Dr. Gordon Goldsborough has been exploring Manitoba’s back roads in search of the stories that shape our past. Those travels have led to the mapping of over 10,000 historic sites — now freely accessible through MHS InSite, the Manitoba Historical Society’s award-winning mobile app for Apple and Android devices. In this presentation, he will share how the project began, what kinds of discoveries it has made possible, and how InSite helps users navigate the province’s rich heritage. He will also highlight ways that community members can contribute their own knowledge to strengthen and expand this
growing resource.
