Note this outing has a late start.

During spring migration stretches of the Winnipeg River attract numerous waterfowl. Geese, swans, diving ducks, grebes and loons are all expected. We also hope to see a number of raptors and songbirds. The outing will start at the Seven Sisters Falls parking lot at 2 p.m. and from there we will make our way downriver. Afterwards we head for Spruce Siding Road, where we hope to see American Woodcocks and possibly owls. Winnipeg participants should meet at the Safeway parking lot at Henderson Hwy. and Chief Peguis at 12:30 p.m. in order to carpool for a 12:45 departure. We will eat somewhere en route, so bring food. Expect a late return to Winnipeg – probably around midnight.
