Description: (by Anna Hunter of Long Way Homestead)

This is what you can expect:
• Guided Farm Tour. Meet the sheep and learn about our regenerative farm practices.
• Guided Wool Mill Tour
• Guided tour of natural dye gardens and dye studio. (The gardens will obviously not be in bloom, but we will tour through our natural dye rainbow. See the colors we can grow in Manitoba).
• Farm store will be open for shopping & browsing. We can take cash, debit, or a credit card.

Things to know for the day:
• Please wear weather appropriate clothing and footwear, as we do not have an indoor facility.
• There is an outdoor washroom/outhouse with hand sanitizer and water/soap for hand washing.
• We can have a small bonfire during the day.
• Parking is on the road with a short 200 metre walk into the driveway. There are a few spots on the driveway.

Getting to the farm:
• Google Maps directions.
• Written directions from Winnipeg:
Head east on the Trans Canada Highway. Past the Centre of Canada sign, turn left (east) onto highway 501 (Rosewood Road). Continue on 501 through the stop sign at highway 12. When you see the Ste G’s general store on the right hand side of the 501, turn left (north) on municipal road 41E. We are the second driveway on the right hand side, #51077.
• If you get lost, call or text 204-381-9130.

Cost: $9 per person.

Bring: Your name tag, a bagged lunch, and very warm clothing. (This is a 100% outdoor activity.)
