Outdoor Activities: Grey Hares
Location: Birds Hill Provincial Park, Nimowin Interpretive Workshop at the end of Nimowin Road. A Manitoba Parks vehicle permit is required.
Time: Meet at 9:30 AM. The guided walk is from 9:45 to 11:30.
Description: Birds Hill Park’s head interpreter will lead us on a walk of the Hazelnut trail, ~4 km.
During previous walks and snowshoe outings, she has been prepared with interesting things to show and tell us.
Lunch: Around the bonfire at the Nimowin Interpretive Workshop building after the walk, 11:30 to 12:30.
Cost: Free.
Toilet: There is a toilet at all trailheads in Birds Hill Park.
Bring: A mug for hot chocolate (complimentary), lunch, weather appropriate clothing, poles (if desired), and your name tag.
