Time / Location: Meet at 10:00 AM at the 59er. From there we will drive the short distance into Birds Hill Park. A provincial park vehicle permit is required.

Description: This will be a nature hike at Birds Hill Park in the area west of the lakes, with emphasis on butterflies. We will walk half of the Pine Ridge trail to the campground, and then do an additional loop from there, including part of the Prairie Winds trail and the perimeter of the sand quarry road/trail. Butterflies and birds are not abundant this time of year. Next year we will have to do a similar hike earlier in mid May to July.
We could swim afterwards.

Duration: About three hours of hiking with a lunch break.

Bring: Your name tag, lunch, binoculars.
