Outdoor Activities: Grey Hares
Location: Assiniboine Duck Pond
Time: 9:00 AM.
Description: We will do a slow walk for about 2 hours. It is not a hike. Depending on the number of registrants, we’ll form groups and tabulate all the birds spotted. It’s early in the season, so it is a good time to spot various sparrows and other early arrivals.
Afterwards we’ll either gather for lunch in the the Duck Pond warm-up shelter, or at the Park Café in the Qualico Family Centre, depending on group preference, to eat and compare/review sightings.
Bring: Binoculars, your name tag, warm outerwear if it’s cold.
