Location / Time: Meet at Henteleff Park, 1964 St Mary's Road at 8:50 AM for a 9:00 AM start. The walk will be about 2 hours.

Description: Henteleff Park now includes 18 species of native trees. Join Marilyn Latta on a guided walk to learn more about Manitoba's native trees and how to identify them. Marilyn is a naturalist who has been site manager at Henteleff Park for many years where she has directed efforts to restore the riparian habitat and maintain a 1.5 acre tall grass prairie restoration. She has also been a long-term Nature Manitoba member and a Past President.
Please park in the parking lot just inside the park entrance, and then walk to the construction trailer, which is about 500' further down the gravel road in the park. Parking space may be limited.

Toilets: There is a toilet at Henteleff Park.

Bring: Water, a snack, suncreen, and your name tag.
