Outdoor Activities: Grey Hares
Location / Time: Meet at Oak Hammock Marsh parking lot (located 20 kilometers north of Winnipeg between Stonewall and Selkirk). Please arrive at 10:00 AM and be ready to bird at 10:10 AM..
Description: With our many Grey Hares birding experts, we will walk the dikes around Oak Hammock Marsh, either in one large group or two or more smaller groups. We will be looking and listening for resident birds and returning birds. Afterwards, we will retire to the Café at Oak Hammock Marsh to list what we have seen and heard, and to socialize.
Distance: We will walk 1 to 5 km, depending on the group.
Toilets: Available in the Discovery Centre.
Bring: Your name tag, lunch or $ for the restaurant, binoculars, a bird book or birding app, curiosity, and interest in the natural world.
