Outdoor Activities: Grey Hares
Location/Time: Meet at the parking lot in Crescent Drive Park (washrooms available) at 10:15 AM for a 10:30 start.
Description: Cycle a meandering route north from Crescent Drive Park to The Forks on the South Winnipeg Parkway: along South Drive through Wildwood Park, then follow Churchill Drive and the Churchill Red River cycling trail. After a lunch stop at The Forks (buy or bring your lunch), we will return to Crescent Drive Park via Lyndale Drive and Kingston Row. We will maintain a relaxed pace with the emphasis on scenery not speed, taking gravel paths wherever possible. Expect to return before 2:30 PM for total time of 4 hours.
Distance: ~30 km.
Bring: Helmet, water, and your name tag.
