Outdoor Activities: Grey Hares
Location / Time: St James Legion, 1755 Portage Ave, at 5:00 PM.
Description:
Last year we brought back the Potluck Supper after an absence of 6 years, and 52 people attended. It is a true potluck meal. Please label your food contribution, especially if it is vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, peanut-free, or tree-nut-free. The bar will be open, and we will have some entertainment after the meal.
Cost: $5 cash per person. Guests are welcome for the same cost. Please pay at the door as you enter.
In memory of Don Wilson:
We would also like to remember Don Wilson who was an active Grey Hares member for many years. We will be opening the mic for anyone who wishes to say a few words. Any money left over after the room rental and other costs are paid will be donated to the Canadian Parks & Wilderness Society (CPAWS), a charity that was treasured by Don.
Bring: Food to share, serving utensils, and your own plate, cutlery, and beverage container … and your name tag.
