Outdoor Activities: Spur of the Moment
Paddle from Seine River at dock close to rue Lavérendrye on the east side of river close to where I live. There is parking on Lavérendrye , Laflèche and Notre Dame .
I paddled on July 24 past the Edgewood -Deniset footbridge up to the riffles where it was getting a little shallow. The hardest part was entry and exit of canoe and doing the limbo to go under a tree going over the river. An interesting observation were weasels of some kind near Happyland Park .
Meet at 10 am and paddle for about 2 hours total .
I can possibly partner people . If interested and don't have canoe please mention if you have PFD and paddle .
Bring hat , water and snacks and appropriate footwear .
