Outdoor Activities: Grey Hares
Location: Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre, 111-B Gilmour Street in Morden. See discoverfossils.com.
Timeline:
– 10:45 AM: Meet at Petro Canada / Humpty's, McGillvray #155 & Perimeter #100 for car pooling if desired. We suggest masking in the car for the 1½ hour one-way trip. Recommended route: PTH #3 (which turns south in Carman).
– 12:15 to 12:30 PM: Arrive at the Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre. We can eat bagged lunches at park benches outside if weather cooperates, or inside cars.
– 1:00 to 2:30 PM: VIP tour. Our guide will be masked, and all participants must verify their COVID immunization status and must mask inside to maximize safety from COVID transmission.
Cost: $18 to $23 each, payable at the entrance. The lower cost is if we have more than 18 people in attendance. (19 people are registered as of Monday at noon.)
Note: Other visitors may be in the Discovery Centre while we are there, but school groups attend in the morning, and next week is not Spring Break.
Bring: Your name tag, your immunization card, a mask, and a bagged lunch.
