Nature Manitoba works to raise funds in order to purchase 320 acres of tall grass prairie near Tolstoi, Manitoba. This would eventually become part of the 2500 acre Tall Grass Prairie Preserve, which NM established in partnership with other conservation groups. NM managed 320 acres of the Preserve, was responsible for some educational programs, as well as served on the Preserve's committee for approximately 35 years. NM transferred ownership of its share of the tall grass prairie to Nature Conservancy of Canada in 2020.
