Outdoor Activities: Grey Hares
Location: CBC Manitoba, 541 Portage Avenue. There is no on-site parking. Many bus routes stop across the street and at Portage & Spence.
Time: Meet before 11:45 AM. Sign-in and a security check will take a few minutes. The tour starts at noon and will last for 1 hour.
Description: This is a guided tour of the building and operations of CBC Manitoba. We will see a broadcast of the daily radio show Radio Noon.
The tour takes place over 2 floors, and we will use stairs.
Cost: Free.
Registration: There is a limit of 20 participants. Registration closed on Friday January 3 at 11:59 PM. The 20 spots were finalized on January 4, and a wait list of 7 members for possible withdrawals was created. We then contacted the 27 members.
As Grey Hares members register, they will be put on a waitlist. We will be giving highest priority for the 20 spots to members who have led activities in the past year, and then the past 2 years … the more activities led, the higher the priority. If there are still spots left, we will give them to new members … the newer the member, the higher the priority.
Lunch: Please think about where you would like to eat lunch afterwards with other participants.
