Outdoor Activities: Grey Hares
Location / Time: Meet at the A&W parking lot across from Polo Park at 9:45 AM. You should park on adjoining streets, not in the A&W parking lot.
Description: Walk the trail west on the Assiniboine River. We will pass ice slides, skating rinks, and paths, which the residents have created and was featured on the news last year. At the Assiniboine Park Foot Bridge we will cross the river and walk along the river bottom forest trail back to A&W. This scenic trail is uneven and narrow, with ups and downs, and it could be icy, so be prepared (e.g. hiking poles, gripper boots).
