Outdoor Activities: Grey Hares
Location / Time: Meet at 10:00 AM in the parking lot on the floodway, directly off of Garven Road. The walk starts at 10:15.
Description: This will be a walk in and around Swistun Family Heritage Park (previously known as Silver Springs Park) on Birds Hill Road, the quarry at Birds Hill town.
Approximate duration is 2 hours 15 minutes.
Distance of 7.5 to 8.5 km. The distance could be shortened a bit near the end for anyone who chooses the alternate route. .
Bring: Your name tag.
Lunch: For those who would like, this outing could be followed by lunch out at Jonesy’s Restaurant in Birds Hill town.
