Outdoor Activities: General Trips
Hike the scenic and rugged 12.4km Hunt Lake Trail along part of the east shore of West Hawk Lake. This is an out-and-back hike. We’ll stop for lunch (bugs permitting) and optionally swimming at the north end of the trail. Proper footwear, food/snacks and plenty of water (2 litres if hot out) is essential. Duration is about 4-5 hours plus the drive to/from your origin.
The hike will be canceled in the event of rain.
Car pooling: meet at the McDonald’s at Southdale Mall on Fermor at 8:15am for an 8:30 departure.
