Location: Riverview Community Centre, 90 Ashland Ave.

Time: 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, which includes lunch. The workshop starts at 10:00 AM.

Cost: $3 to $5 per person will be needed to pay for facility rental — cash, in-person on April 15.

Description:
Bring your bicycle to a 2+ hour workshop (which includes lunch time) where you will learn:
– how to give it a quick check,
– how to do some thorough checks,
– how to identify problems, and
– what to do (or who to contact) for various problems.
There will be plenty of opportunities for questions.
The workshop will begin with an explanation of general bicycle info and maintenance.

Bring: Your bicycle, a towel (to wipe down your bike prior to bringing it inside the Riverview Community Centre), something to take notes with, a lunch, and your name tag.

Workshop leader: Kevin Miller has extensive knowledge, expertise, and experience as a bicycle mechanic … and as a road cyclist, mountain biker, day-touring cyclist, and all-year transportation cyclist.

History: This workshop was previously a Grey Hares activity on 2023-Apr-19 and 2018-Apr-11.
