Location: Agassiz Provincial Forest.

Time: Meet at the Tim Hortons on Lagimodière Blvd at Headmaster Row (1 km south of the North Perimeter Highway) at 10:45 AM for carpooling. It will take 15 minutes to form carpools, use washrooms, and move non-driver’s cars a block away on Headmaster Row.
Or you can meet us at the trailhead at noon, ready to ski.
Map (80 km / 50 minutes from Tim Hortons to the trailhead, 15 km west of Lac du Bonnet on PTH 317)

Description: The Lac du Bonnet Cross Country Ski Club maintains 16K of ski trails in the Agassiz Provincial Forest. See https://ccsam.ca/where-to-ski/trails/groups/agassiz-provincial-forest for complete info about the trails (including a trails map).
Anita will be leading the group throughout the day.
Kevin will be skiing back-and-forth to keep track of everyone, ensuring everyone is doing OK and skiing with at least one other person, and ensuring we re-group at various times.
This is an "easy" trail system with flat to gently rolling terrain, but the far end of it is almost 5K from the trailhead, and we are likely to be the only skiers there, so we've rated it Intermediate. Expect to ski a minimum of 10K. The most advanced skiers will probably end up near 20K.

Trail fee: Anita will collect a $5 trail fee from each attendee. Afterwards we will e-transfer the amount collected to the Lac du Bonnet Cross Country Ski Club.

Lunch: There is an old one-open-side shelter on the Blue trail that has an old pit toilet nearby. Trails map. We will stop there. If it is a cold day, perhaps eat before arriving at the trailhead and/or snack while skiing. There is a large trail map and port-a-potty at the trailhead.

Bring: Your name tag.
