Travel route map. We should arrive at Seven Sisters near 10:00 AM.

Description: From the Seven Sisters Generating Station parking lot, we will cycle the Trans Canada Trail alongside Natalie Lake, through the boreal forest to Pinawa, and then alongside the Winnipeg River in Pinawa to the Pinawa Channel. The route is mostly gravel and flat. The distance is approx 35 km (return).
tctrail.ca: "This well-maintained trail runs through grasslands, granite shield, and boreal forest. There is abundant wildlife and many species of birds. There is lots to see, including Manitoba’s first hydro-electric station, the Seven Sisters Causeway, the Town of Pinawa with its riverside trail (Ironwood Trail) / marina / beach, and the Pinawa Channel."
