Location: Meet at 380 Provencher Ave (Dairy Queen / Shell strip mall, just east of Rue Des Meurons and just west of the Seine River on the south side of Provencher Blvd).

Time: Start walking at 1:00 PM.

Description: We'll snowshoe south on the Seine River and/or along it.
The west bank is a small part of the Gabrielle Roy Route.
The east bank was highly recommended by Keith Sutton after he snowshoed it in January 2021:
"... follows the east bank southward, probably all the way to Marion; I left at the toboggan hill at Giroux St, so I'm not sure. The trail is one track wide, at times fairly technical, and a darned good workout.  Snowshoes with metal crampons recommended. It diverges and converges at times, but most of it is clearly marked with pink trail tape. Wonderful views that you don't get from the trail on the west side of the Seine River. There is a ... lovely little skating trail at the far end."

Time / Distance: 1½+ hours (45 minutes out/southward + 45 minutes back/northward). ~5K

Bring: Snowshoes with metal crampons and your name tag. Dress warmly; the current long-term weather forecast for Wednesday December 21 is for cold temps, although we should be sheltered from the wind.
