May 17 update: 10 boats are registered, plus there are  2 bow paddlers looking for stern paddlers with canoes. Otherwise, this activity is full.

Location / Time: Meet at 10:00 AM at the East Selkirk launch point: east side of the bridge on Hwy 212 that crosses Cooks Creek. There is a public parking area at the launch which is west of the East Selkirk fire hall. Map  Launch at 10:30.

Description: We will head upstream on Cooks Creek as far as we want to go, and then turn around and paddle downstream to the launch site. Based on group interest and current, we then may paddle north down Cooks Creek. ~ 3 to 4 hours in total.

Boats: If you don’t have a canoe or kayak, we can try to match you with someone looking for a bow paddler in their canoe.

Bring: Lunch, water, sunscreen, your name tag, and extra clothes.
