St Boniface guided walking tour and guided tour of the St Boniface Museum

Time / Location: Meet outside at The Forks under the canopy at 10:30 AM. We will walk from there across the bridge to the St Boniface Museum.
Cost: Thanks to the receipt of grants, the museum will not be charging for the walking tour or for museum entry. I am sure donations would be gratefully accepted.

Selkirk Mural Tour and Walk

Time /Location/Directions: 10:00 AM. We will meet in Selkirk at a parking lot near the corner of Manitoba Ave & Eveline St. When coming from Winnipeg, follow Main St, which becomes Hwy 9 and then becomes 9A, to Selkirk. In Selkirk continue going north on Main St and turn right onto Manitoba Ave at some traffic lights.

Ski the rolling and forested trails of Grand Beach

Ski the rolling and forested trails of Grand Beach. Ski some of the 35 kms of sheltered trails in the spruce and pine forest on a choice of several loops. Trails are groomed with double classic tracks and a skating trail between.

Snowshoeing in Lagimodiere-Gaboury park

Two (2) outings to choose from: Option 2: Snowshoeing in Lagimodiere-Gaboury park, one block north of Provencher and Des Meurons, off Thibault. Explore the woods then tramp along the Red and Seine rivers. Estimate time 1.5 to 2 hours. Suggest bringing a small snack. Subway and Dairy Queen across from park.

Walk or Skate to the Forks from Riverview area

From May Wady and Michael Farris’ house in the middle of Riverview, walk approximately .8 km to the warm-up shack located below the Canoe and Kayak Centre on Churchill Drive.  Walk to the Forks on the river trail (another 3 km).  Alternatively change into skates at the warm-up shack and skate on the river trail.  Several route options may be possible for both skaters and walkers.   Time skate o

Ski Bittersweet trails near Treherne

Two (2) outings to choose from: Option 1: Ski Bittersweet trails near Treherne.  Enjoy 20 km of classic and 14 km of skate ski trails of varying difficulty, from easy to difficult. Easier trails are toward the east side, more difficult trails and hills to the west side, central warming hut plus a new clubhouse at the trail head.
