Volunteer at Harvest Manitoba in honour of Doris Orchyk

Description: Doris was a longtime volunteer co-coordinator at a Harvest food bank at her church up until the time of her death.  We will honour her by volunteering during the April 6 morning shift (10:00 AM to noon) at the Harvest Manitoba warehouse, 1085 Winnipeg Ave.

Hike the Cedar Bog Trail at Birds Hill Park followed by lunch at Pineridge Hollow

Location: The Cedar Bog trail is located off North Drive in Birds Hill Park.  When entering the park off Hwy #59, Cedar Bog Trail is the first trailhead on North Drive.  Watch for the sign to the parking lot.
 
Time: Meet in the Cedar Bog parking lot in time to begin hiking at 11:00 AM.

Ski at Agassiz Provincial Forest [cancelled -- too cold and possible poor driving conditions]

The Lac du Bonnet Cross Country Ski Club maintains 13K of ski trails in the Agassiz Provincial Forest. Bird's Hill Smorgasbord ski

A selection of delectable trails, starting at the stables/restaurant: an appetizer of Esker, with a taste of Chickadee, followed by a slice of Aspen, a more robust helping of Chickadee, a soupcon of Group Use Road, a tasty meander on Esker to the bush trail to a robust serving of Kiln loop, and a bracing third serving of Esker back to the parking lot.
