The Snow Valley area is renowned for its scenery, especially in the autumn. We shall hike along the Pumpkin Creek cross-country ski trails and explore the area. Then onto Carman where we shall do part of the riverine Active Living Trail, followed by the town's fall dinner at 4 p.m.

Hike the Hunt Lake trail to its east side where there is a good entry point to snorkel. We will explore the area and the nearby region. Bring mask, snorkel, fins and a lunch. 

Hike around Emerson via the TransCanada Trail; then reward yourself at the town’s fall dinner. 

Join Al on a hike on the south end of the Mantario trail, possibly up to Caribou Lake. The trail has up and downhills and is at times rugged. Decent physical condition is a requisite. 

Join Les McCann on a canoe trip around Netley Marsh. 

Join Stan along the ups and downs of Pembina Valley Provincial Park in southern Manitoba. 

Help maintain the Mantario cabin and prepare it for winter.  Learn how to use and look after the cabin facilities.  We’ll canoe and portage in during late season conditions for a four or five day weekend.  

Join Les for an autumn hike and then onto the Headingley fall dinner. As advance tickets are necessary, dinner money of $12 per person to be sent to Les or the Nature Manitoba office by October 29.

In case you did not eat enough during the holiday season, here's another chance to try again while hiking. Join Rose on the third annual 12 km round-trip hike through the Assiniboine Forest to the Fort Whyte Centre restaurant. 

Based on a request from a participant from last year’s excursion, Al will do an early afternoon hike starting around the Belgian Club, going through St. Boniface to The Forks or Waterfront Drive and back. Afterwards those interested could attend the Belgian Club’s fall supper (cost $11). 

Join Roger Sutherland on a hike on the Grand Beach trails before skiing season. The meeting time will be at 10 a.m. 

Spend the February long weekend on a ski trip to the beautiful Mantario cabin in Whiteshell Provincial Park. Participants must have the endurance and skills to cross-country ski over 20 km each way in very cold weather. Group size is limited to 12 people. 

Roger Sutherland will be doing the hike along Grand Beach this Sunday. Meet at Perkins (Lagimodiere and Regent) for 10 a.m.

Join Leigh Cullen on a three-day excursion to the Mantario cabin. Whether it is a ski, hike or whatever depends on the weather and temperature. 

Join Les McCann on a day ski trip to the Sandilands area. 

Join Rose on a leisurely snowshoe hike through this provincial park.

Join Roger Sutherland for a Seine River hike from Fort Gibraltar to Happyland Park. Meet at the Fort Gibraltar parking lot at 1 p.m. The hike will be one-way, therefore a shuttle will be organized.

Join Al Louer on a ski at Sandilands Provincial Forest since there is more snow. $5.00 trail fee to be paid at the Marchand General Store (including signing and the Ski Association’s liabilty form. 

Please join Roger for a 2-3 hour hike through the Assiniboine Forest. It starts at 1 pm so meet at the Chalfont and Grant parking lot.

Join Al on a cycle adventure starting on the north side of the Assiniboine River, and coming back on the south side. Anticipate covering a decent amount of kilometres. More details to be added closer to date when it will be possible to gauge road conditions.
