Beach to Border Hike, South Whiteshell Provincial Park

In honour of Father's Day and all the good guys out there, do these fellas a favour and drag them out for this 12 km hike from West Hawk Lake to the Manitoba/Ontario border along the Great Trans Canada Trail. We shall also do a short infiltration of about one km around the Hunt Lake trailhead to look at the bog and rock outcroppings.

Hike 'n Eat around Gardenton Park

Hike 'n Eat; The Roland Pumpkin Fair

FOR NATURE MANITOBA MEMBERS ONLY. Hike around the Manitoba Escarpment for about 10-12 km, then enjoy the displays of inexplicably huge vegetables (pumpkin, squash, tomato, watermelon) at the Roland Pumpkin Fair. Realizing even you cannot eat that much, we will avail ourselves of smaller portions at the town's full-course harvest dinner.

Delta Marsh Hike

Hike in Whiteshell Provincial Park

We shall hike around Whiteshell Provincial Park for about 10 km., probably at Pine Point Rapids (the previous excursion there was cancelled) and Nutimik Lake, perhaps with an outdoor BBQ afterwards.

Hike at Prairie Originals

Towering Cottonwood Trail and Kildonan Park

Full Moon Rising - Hike 'n Dine in Birds Hill Park

For Nature Manitoba members only. Hike the Lime Kiln Trail in Birds Hill Park (ca. 8 km.) starting in late afternoon, bring food for a potluck in the warming shack, then return in the evening with a full moon rising. Depending on the amount of snow and if this becomes a groomed ski trail, may have to switch locations.
