Location: Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre, 174 Market Ave.
Time: 10:00 AM. The tour will last for about an hour.
Description: Facility tours provide a behind-the-scenes look at Royal MTC. You will gain a unique perspective on how they produce the plays you see on stage. Tours may visit the carpentry shop, wardrobe, props department, rehearsal hall, and more. There is a lot of stair climbing during the tour.
Cost: Free.
Group size: Two simultaneous tours, each with 20 people. Each of us can decide which tour we want to be in. The tours are full, and a wait list has been started. If you are registered and no longer able to attend, please let us know ASAP.
Architecture: The Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre's John Hirsch Mainstage is a National Historic Site. It is recognized for its contribution to Canadian theatre and for its Brutalist architecture.
