Led by a member of the Winnipeg Art Council (WAC) and a member from Bike Winnipeg, at no charge. Cycle around the city to art pieces commissioned by the WAC. It will be a different route than last year. The WAC member will talk about the art work, why it was commissioned, who the artists are, etc. All rides are on pathways or designated cycle routes. Bike Winnipeg will provide cycling safety along the route. Rating: Novice/Intermediate depending on the route.

FOR NATURE MANITOBA MEMBERS ONLY. Hike around the Manitoba Escarpment for about 10-12 km, then enjoy the displays of inexplicably huge vegetables (pumpkin, squash, tomato, watermelon) at the Roland Pumpkin Fair. Realizing even you cannot eat that much, we will avail ourselves of smaller portions at the town's full-course harvest dinner.

Hike the Headingley Grand Trunk Trail to experience the one-year old pedestrian bridge from Beaudry Provincial Park and view the tall grass prairie remnant that still miraculously survives. Distance approx.. 8 – 10 kms.

The iconic Saguaro cactus is a keystone species of the Sonoran Desert, a unique area found primarily in Mexico but stretching north into southern Arizona. Marilyn Latta has spent part of the last five winters near Tucson exploring the area and learning about the relationships between the plants, birds and other wildlife that survive in this extreme desert environment. From Roadrunners to rattlers, and saguaros to chia plants, join Marilyn to learn more about this diverse and fascinating area.
