Join Roger for canoe / kayak on Lake Manitoba at Steep Rock . We plan on canoeing to Goat Island and explore the island and canoe along the shore and possibly explore some caves.
Near Vivian and Nourse on Highway 15, which is close to Winnipeg. This upper section of the Brokenhead is best paddled in May or June. The Brokenhead canoe routes are well described in “Through Field and Forest: A Canoe Companion for the Brokenhead River” by Dusty Moulinski. Note: This is a new exploratory trip for the Grey Hares.

Dragon Boating on the Red River. Try something new or experience it all over again! Paddles and PFD’s supplied. Start/end at Canoe/Kayak Club, 80 Churchill Drive. Cost about $100.00 for equipment rental, split between # of participants. Dragon boat can accommodate 20 paddlers.
