President's Award recipient 2023
John Schulz, since he started volunteering in Sept 2021 has been our wonderful IT and project management manager. He is a very active member and inspiring leader of the Grey Hares.
In 2023, his leadership and flexibility in IT and process improvement for many of our committees and partners has been amazing. He is always ready to help anyone and played a major part in hiring and bringing on our program coordinator Tami Bradford and others in what we now call “John boarding”.
With the lack of a finance/admin person in the office, he trained volunteers, took on membership roles himself. He also engaged a new volunteer, Gillian Brennan to work with him on automation of our membership and donation process.
His leadership, knowledge and positive attitude is appreciated by all of us who work with him.
